Honey Baked Ham

Ingredients

8-9 lb. spiral sliced ham (uncured)

1/2 cup unsalted grass-fed butter

1/3 cup Dijon mustard

3 Tbsp honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

 

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 325° F.

2. Heat butter and honey in a sauté pan over medium heat and bring to a low boil. Whisk in the mustard and garlic until smooth. Remove from heat.

3. Place the ham on a large oven-safe pan, with the cut side down. Brush the ham with the butter mixture, covering all areas. Place in the oven.

4. For an 8 lb. ham, cook for approximately 1.5-2 hours (about 15 minutes per pound), or until internal temperature reaches 140° F. For a caramelized coating, turn on the broiler for the final 1-2 minutes of cooking.

5. Remove from the oven and transfer to a cutting board. Slice ham and serve with any leftover glaze.
